The Phoronix Test Suite is the most comprehensive testing and benchmarking platform available for Linux, OpenSolaris, Mac OS X, and BSD operating systems. The Phoronix Test Suite is designed to carry out tests in a clean, reproducible, and easy-to-use manner. This open-source software ships with over 100 test profiles and 40 test suites, but new tests and suites can be easily added through its XML-based test profile architecture.
