Returns the length of the opened <a href="../def/stream+en">stream</a> <u>hStream</u>.

If the <a href="../def/stream+en">stream</a> is not a file, i.e. a <a href="../comp/gb/process+en">Process</a> or a <a href="../comp/gb.net/socket+en">Socket</a>, then it returns the number of bytes that can be read at once.
